What if I don't have full coverage auto-insurance on a car newly purchased?

Okay, I just have gotten a newer model car but the dealership require that I have full coverage although I really can't afford full coverage right now. I am to busy trying to meet the monthly payments which is $320. So, will they know if I don't have full coverage? What I mean is what will happen?

the dealership doesn't care what your coverage is unless they are financing the car. all they ask is the name of your insurance co. the finance co. will usually require you to have full coverage until you pay it off.
